A solar eclipse, that was nearly a total solar eclipse, had its centre over Qatar, (a small Country in the Gulf near Kuwait) went over Jerusalem in late 29 AD on the 24th of November.
I am thinking, that this could have been a sign in the sky for all time, of the beginning of Jesus' preaching time.
Steven got martyred, and some believe, that it happened in late 36 AD on the 26th of December.
If so, then it can be noticed, that it is almost exactly, 7 years after the eclipse.

In 2016, they said it was a Jubilee year, and that on the one before, in 1967, Jerusalem, became fully and entirely in control of the State of Israel and the one before that in 1918 the favour of the British Empire to reestablish the State of Israel was given as the Balfour Declaration in late 1917 on the 2nd of November, quite within the Hebrew calendar year of 1918, which starts every September.
The year before, 2015, would have been a seventh year and so a Sabbath year.
At the beginning of Jesus' preaching time, He declared the arrival of the beginning of a Sabbath year, probably 27 AD.
That would have started in September 26 AD and finished in September 27 AD.
2015 - 27 = 1988, which is neatly dividable by 7, 284 times.
The Sabbath years before 27 AD, would have been, 20, 13 and 6.

Maybe Jesus was born at the end of the Sabbath year that was before the 6 AD one, which would have been September 2 BC.
So in September 1 BC, He would have been 1 years old and beginning His 2nd year.
So in September 1 AD, He would have been 2 years old and beginning His 3rd year.
So in September 2 BC, He would have been 3 years old and beginning His 4th year.
So in September 3 AD, He would have been 4 years old and beginning His 5th year.
So in September 4 AD, He would have been 5 years old and beginning His 6th year.
So in September 5 AD, He would have been 6 years old and beginning His 7th year.
So this would be His 1st Sabbath year we we call 6 AD but the Hebrew calendar year always begins in September of the year before, but would still be called 6 AD.

In September of 29 AD the Hebrew year 30 AD was starting, and Jesus would be going into His 31st year having become 30 years old and finishing His 30th year.
In the 1st 5 books of the Bible, its says somewhere, that a Priest can start to preach, in his 30th year.
In this system I am thinking on here, around the solar eclipse of the 24th of November 29 AD, Jesus would have finished His 30th year and would be over a month into His 31st year.
But maybe His birthday was later?

Anyway in spring of 33 AD, He suffered the awful cross, on our behalf, in the hope, of us becoming, less sin doing and finding useful existence with Him for eternity.
That was about 3.5 years later, which is half 7, and at the end of this 7, possibly Steven was martyred.
As John the Baptist was  6 months older, He would have started to preach, in Spring of 29AD, 1.5 years after the end of the last Sabbath year.
I have, for some years wondered, how did John, get people to go into the wilderness anyway.
I have found, that they used to do Scrumping, on the Sabbath year, as they were not allowed to work.
Scrumping is searching for food in the wilderness.
They even did it the following year, as they waited for the 1st Harvest, though God gave them a blessed Harvest, before the Sabbath year began.
Also there were some odd Jews, who lived in the wilderness, like Monks, for fear or a big Disaster on the cities.
These Monks would also have helped, John to live as He did and Elijah did as well.
There still is a Gap of about 0.5 of a year before, John would have started preaching, unless He started earlier in His 30th year.
Which it seems to me He was legally allowed to do, as I understand from the Bible.

In more recent history, in the Jubilee year of 1820, in the spring, Joseph Smith of Mormon fame, had His 1st vision, at the age of 14.5.
He was born on the 23rd of December 1805.
The Sabbath year of 1805, ended in september 1805, but there is the Holy part of the year, which ends in spring 6 months later.
He was martyred, on the 27th of June 1844.
This was nearly 24.5 years after His vision.
In september 1844, the Seventh Day Church began.
24.5 is half a Jubilee.
Around the time of the next Jubilee of 1869, Charles Taze Russell, had an idea, after a 2nd day Adventist meeting, at the age of 16.5, which led to the Jehovahs Witness church coming to existence.
The first ever Watchtower magazine, came to exist in 1879, 35 years after 1844, which is after half of 70 years.
At the end of the 70 years, it was 1914, when World War 1 began.
Charles Taze Russell had warned about this year for decades before it happened.

The Book of Mormon came out in 1830, approximately 3.5 years after the last Sabbath year, when an Angel gave Him the plates that led to the book of Mormon.
1830 is 14 years before He died, as 1844, is 3.5 years after the Sabbath year of 1840.
14 years after 1844, Ellen G White had a vision, to begin to write, Her special Seventh Day Adventist book, called the Great Controversy.

In 1611, the King James Bible was published, 2 years after the Sabbath year of 1809, just like the eclipse of 29 AD happened 2 years after the Sabbath year of 27 AD.
1611 - 29 = 1582 and 1582 / 7 = 226.
In 1602, the last revision of the Bishops Bible was printed, for the translators doing the King James Bible.
1602 AD - 6 AD (Jesus' 1st Sabbath year) = 1596 and 1596 / 7 = 228.
In 1539, King Henry VIII had the Great Bible published.
1539 - 6 = 1533 and 1533 / 7 = 219.
In 1536, Tyndale said will being executed "Lord, open the Kings eyes"
1844 (When Joseph Smith was martyred) - 1536 = 308 and 308 / 7 = 44.
In 1525 Tyndale translated the New Testament.
1525 - 6 = 1519 and 1519 / 7 = 217.
Go figure, as the Americans say…
